Now progress of ‘Mission Shakti’ will be monitored through google forms

Lucknow, Lucknow 25. In order to monitor the various initiatives being taken in ‘Safety Week’ that is being observed between October 17 to October 25 under ‘Mission Shakti, all districts are directed to observe its progress through google forms and also asked to ensure its implementation across the state. It will help in providing information about schemes and programmes that are being carried out by the state government. 
As part of ‘Mission Shakti’ awareness drive launched by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath which intends to create awareness about women empowerment in the state, various events were organised at several places including Gram Panchayats, schools, government offices with an objective to reaffirm the faith and resolve for the safety, dignity and women empowerment on the 6th day of its launch.
The initiative witnessed the participation of 24 government departments including basic education, secondary education, higher education, police department ,etc. The events include short films, street plays, webinar, sensitization at different parts of the state including Hamirpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Varanasi, Jhansi, Saharanpur, LakhimpurKheri, Moradabad, Lucknow, Banda, Kannauj, etc.
In Etah, Project officer, Programme Officer and Aganwadi workers informed women about prevention of child marriage and legal rights to fight against this. Also, women are also being informed about the various punishment provisions relating to crime against women. In this series, various government departments actively participated in this and organized seminars, workshops and interaction sessions where women are being made aware about constitutional rights, cyber crime, POSCO law, beneficiary schemes, helpline desk, children or women helpline numbers.
