Delhi, 16 April (H.S): On Tuesday, the town of Raiganj in West Bengal’s North Dinajpur district is buzzing with anticipation as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address his first-ever public meeting there.
With the Lok Sabha elections just around the corner, the PM’s rally is expected to draw a massive crowd of around 1 lakh people, according to District BJP President Basudeb Sarkar. This is the first time that a Prime Minister will address a public gathering in Raiganj, causing great excitement among the people, even those from rival political parties.
PM Modi has been actively campaigning in West Bengal for the upcoming elections, and at every rally, he has been strongly criticizing the ruling Trinamool Congress. State BJP sources also revealed that they are expecting the PM to address the recent attack on a National Investigation Agency team in East Midnapore district during his speech on Tuesday.
