Rajarshi Tandon Mahila Mahavidyalaya and National Service Scheme unit are jointly organizing Yoga Week
Our country is preparing to celebrate the year 2023 as “9th International Yoga Day”. In the context of this very important event, today, on June 17, 2023, “Yoga Protocol Course” was organized in the college premises between 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Inaugurating the programme, Principal Professor Ranjana Tripathi encouraged the girl students and told about the importance of yoga, asked them to include it in their daily routine, so that the physical and mental development of the girl students can be done well.

Yoga instructor Dr. Prashant Tiwari (Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Jasra, Prayagraj) on the occasion of the 9th International Yoga Protocol taught camp teachers, teachers, employees and volunteers Vrikshasana, Titli Asana, Vajrasana, Tadasana, Pada, Uttasana and Surya Namaskar along with all the steps. Practiced Pranayama like Bhramari, Kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom, Sheetali etc.

Along with this, while highlighting the importance of Yoga, he also administered the “Yoga Shapath”. He said that yoga promotes our physical, mental and spiritual health, so we should include yoga in our daily routine.

About 40 volunteers along with Principal Prof. Ranjana Tripathi, Program Officer Dr. Kaumudi Srivastava, teacher Dr. Shamenaz Bano and non-teaching staff Pooja Aggarwal participated on this occasion.
