SHUATS gets education excellence award

Prayagraj: The Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology And Sciences (SHUATS) received the education excellence award 2021 at Uttar Pradesh Convlace in Hotel Taj, Lucknow. On behalf of SHUATS, Director Extension Prof. (Dr.) Arif. A. Broadway and Director Research Dr. Shailesh Marker received this award from U.P. Minister Mr. Satish Divedi.

Under the dynamic leadership of founder Vice Chancellor of SHUATS Most Rev. Prof. Rajendra B. Lal, the scientists and subject matter specialists have developed online modules. With the use of such modules Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professor of the University continuously taught the students and research scholars during covid-19 epedemic. SHUATS also implemented online modules for extension activities. Director Research Dr. Shailesh Marker presented agriculture education, research and extenstion activities of SHUATS in the programme. Based on the quality education and research, SHUATS has been awarded with education excellence award 2021 by Basic Sikcha Rajya Mantri Mr. Satish Divedi.

SHUATS was established in the year 1910 and giving its contribution in the field of agriculture education and research for the last 110 years. Lots of agriculture and research projects of Uttar Pradesh and Central Governments are being successfully implemented by the SHUATS. Through seed production programme, fatmer’s training programmes etc SHUATS is also giving great contribution to increase the farmers’ income.
