Supreme Court Listens to the valid point of the Yogi Government on the poster issue

New Delhi: Supreme Court questioned Uttar Pradesh Government that by which law government decided to put posters on the street. Although the Supreme Court has not questioned the intention of the U.P government and stated clearly thatthis has not offend any privacy of an individual as they have harmed the public property and created riot. The Supreme Court also mentioned that state government has not offended any law.

During the debate lawyer from the side of Ex IPS officer said that this government has appealed people not to lynch the accused by putting their posters and mention their details on it. Supreme Court has referred this case to upper bench of three judges. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta is representing the government side and called this case as an important one. He says “the attitude of chief minister Yogi Adityanath is very interesting, they have decided to go to any extent just to teach lesson rioters and prepare to recover damage from rioter and for this they are going to make “Recovery for Damage to Public and Private ordinance 2020”. This will be an experiment and it could reduce the riots happening in U.P . The U.P. government made a strong point that if strict action is not being taken this time, it will boost the confidence of anti social elements and in future it could be more dangerous.
