The center has formed an autonomous trust for the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

New Delhi, 05 Feb 05 (HS): The Center has formed an autonomous trust for the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister announced this in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. 

” Modi said “, I am happy to announce that in the cabinet meet today morning, we took significant decisions on the Ayodhya trust. As per the orders of the Supreme court, we have set up a trust. The Sri Ram Janma Bhumi Tirtha Shetra will be the name of the trust. It will be an independent body.

 We are allocating over 67 hectares of land near the mandir area to the trust… We want people of all religions and communities in India to thrive,” he added.

He has said that the Sunni Waqf Board will be given 45 acres of land in Ayodhya. According to the decision of the Supreme Court, the land will be transferred to the trust for the construction of Ram temple. This trust will construct the temple.
